Cool roofs can combat Global warming
In countries like India, Greece, and a lot of middle eastern countries, it’s common to cool the houses by painting the roofs white. This reflects a lot of the heat back and as such the air around does not get too hot. This cools the cities which are usually relatively hotter than the surrounding rural areas. But this study shows that they have a positive effect on the global warming.
