Enormous block of ice breaks off Greenland glacier

This is the second big break off in only a few months. Jakobshavn Isbrae glacier observed in July
Now the Petermann glacier lost an enormous block of ice (almost a quarter of the ice sheet).
In 2008 an enormous crack was observed
But nothing in the prediction was as big as what happened today.
